How Computed Radiography Works…
High-quality radiographs are produced without any x-ray film, wet chemistry, or dark rooms. A reusable phosphor plate takes the place of the film in the x-ray cassettes; and the digital images can then be burned onto CDs, or transmitted over a computer network for remote diagnosis. These plates can be reused for up-to 7,000 exposures before requiring replacement. Mid-Atlantic's Computed Radiography systems are all designed to reduce cost, size, weight, and environmental hazards…while improving the overall quality of patient care. All components are FDA 510-approved.
